Information We Collect
To verify your identity and grant access to the portal, we collect your email address and your SPYC account number. These credentials are used solely for authentication with our systems.
How We Use Data
Information you provide is used strictly for fleet portal access and session management—so you can sign in securely and stay signed in according to your preferences. We do not use this data for unrelated marketing or profiling.
Directory, Messaging & Content
The portal may display member directory information (subject to your privacy preferences), event signups, messages you send, photos you upload, and marketplace listings. You can control phone and email visibility in the member directory. Use of the portal is also governed by our Terms of Service.
Location
When you check in at an FCYC club, the iPhone app may ask for your location while you are using it, to confirm you are near that club. We do not collect location in the background.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app sends a device token to our servers so we can deliver member messages. You can turn notifications off in iOS Settings.
Face ID
Face ID unlock is optional. If you turn it on, the app stores your session in the iOS keychain and uses Face ID to unlock it on this device. Face ID data stays on your iPhone.
Security
Data is transmitted between your device and our services using HTTPS. Where the app stores session material on your device (for example in our native builds), session tokens are stored securely using Capacitor Preferences, following platform best practices for on-device secrets.
Third Parties
Your data is never sold. It is only shared with necessary infrastructure providers that make the service possible—such as our secure backend and hosting—under obligations consistent with operating the member portal.
